The Finnish company, within the strategy framework of increasing the
sheeting capacity of its high-quality paper and cardboard, commissioned Pasaban
to design and manufacture a highly automated cardboard sheeting machine capable
of being integrated into its production process.
Packaging in the food industry is constantly evolving to adapt and
meet the consumption and market demand. Taking this into account and after
having decided to depend to a lesser extent on external sheeting centres, the company
decided to purchase a new Pasaban sheeter.
The machine, a KDD
sheeter, is configured with a high degree of automation to assuredly absorb
high production levels and at the same time provide the flexibility the plant
requires. As for its characteristics, the sheeter is able to process reels with
a diameter of up to 2500 mm, it has 2 unwind stands and it is able to operate
at a speed of 400 m/min with the utmost precision. On the whole, the machine
provides a non-stop fully
automated solution ideal for high production requirements.
Pasaban's relationship with this customer has been ongoing
throughout the years. We have supplied several machines, this last one aimed to
this plant that produces high-quality folding boxboard for consumer packaging,
especially for food, confectionery and pharmaceutical products.
Once again, Pasaban technology provides the right solution addressing
the growth requirements of a top-class mill in the paper and cardboard industry.
